Sun Prairie Historical Museum: Newly renovated in July 2019, The Sun Prairie Historical Library and Museum (SPHLM) is a little house on a big prairie! Exhibits include important local facts about Georgia O’Keeffe and highlights of the cultures of the immigrants – both past and recent – who have made Sun Prairie their home.
Sweet Corn Festival: Over 100,000 people from around the Midwest attend the event that serves over 80 tons of sweet corn during the weekend. Held mid-August located at Angell Park.
Jimmy the Groundhog has an extremely high accuracy rate on his annual predictions, making him an outstanding leader in meteorological circles. Businesses and organizations throughout the City of Sun Prairie will be offering many Groundhog Day specials on February 2nd or throughout the week.
