Welcome to Verona

Many families, retirees and young professionals live in Verona. It is the self-proclaimed “Hometown USA” with a charming main street and down-to-earth feel.

Verona is home to the headquarters of Epic, a medical software company that is one of the largest employers in the region. Verona offers a great school system, a wide range of job opportunities, and excellent housing districts. Verona is an overall accepting community with an adorable downtown area filled with restaurants and multiple neighborhood grocery stores.

Should I live in Verona, Wisconsin?

If you want a family-friendly suburban environment, small town charm, great schools, and easy access to both urban amenities and the great outdoors (Blue Mounds State Park, anyone?), then Verona could be an excellent choice.

Real estate prices in Verona generally trend slightly higher than the Madison average — but because of the unorthodox boundaries of Madison, Verona, and Fitchburg, there are plenty of homes for sale in the Verona area that are below (or well above) the median. Our expert view: Verona is a great place to buy a home if it fits your lifestyle and budget!
