Business of the Week: Project Empower

These days, it is important to encourage kids to learn about COVID-19 and what impact it has on themselves, friends and family. Project Empower, a non-profit based in Middleton is doing just that!

Founded by inspired high schoolers in 2018, Project Empower is an organization dedicated to diversifying the STEM fields. They created a FREE COVID-19 Lung Model Kit for kids ages 5-8 that will teach them about COVID-19 by facilitating a conversation and empowering children with the understanding of how to keep themselves and others safe during this time. The kit includes materials for the lung model, a pamphlet for parents, a story booklet with instructions, a stethoscope, and science glasses.
