Dog Lover’s: Resource Guide to Dog Parks

Are you a dog lover and new to the Madison Area? There is a wonderful community of dog owners and places to go to help you and your dog get accumulated to his/her new surroundings, burn some energy and meet other dog owners. Currently, dogs are allowed on-leash and on path in 26 Madison Parks and off-leash in 8 dog exercise areas with a license and dog park permit. A daily or annual Dog Park Permit may be purchased ONLINE or at the off-leash dog park kiosk. Here are the 2020 fees:

  • Additional or Replacement Permit Tag: $17
  • Daily Fee: $5

Middleton Dog Park is located in Waunakee, WI. It consists of two parks. One for larger dogs, and a smaller area for small dogs. Large wide-open spaces for dogs to run make this park a home run.
